Does Porn Enrich or Kill a relationship? 73% Believe It’s a Valuable Experience

Date:

Most couples believe pornography could be an enriching part of marital intimacy. This was indicated by a poll, accomplished by Meetville.com?(dating app to search for the right person) between 7/16/14 and 9/2/14.

The poll posed the following question: “Is porn OK in a marriage?” 73% most respondents believe pornography does not have a poor relation to wedding.

Participants numbered 58,139. With the USA – 50%, from Canada – 4%, from Britain – 12%, Australia – 7% and from other countries – 27%.

Samantha Rodman, clinical psychologist, states “Porn could be a relationship enhancer. If you work with porn with your partner likes it, is fine about it, or uses it on hand, that is perfect. When you are using it as an alternative to sex with all your partner, I have faith that hurts the connection because it cuts one’s partner off, draws sexual energy from the marriage, and heightens distance between partners,” thinks Samantha.

Other statistics indicate that among those who weren’t against porn in the marriage, 78% were male votes and 22% – female.

According to Alex Cusper, Meetville service analyst, “Men are quite visual and most men enjoy watching porn with the age puberty onwards.” However, he believes that must be not just a male issue, nevertheless it affects both partners.

Meetville, a top mobile dating service, regularly conducts research among its users. Thousands of people from the U.S., Canada, Britain and Australia answer numerous questions each and every month. You’ll find the results within the poll here. Should you be thinking about research on a particular topic, please call us.
